Nicole Erdrich - Owner
Nicole Erdrich, the owner of Four Peaks Medicinals, is deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey of learning, healing, growth, and self-improvement. With a degree in Recreation Administration from Chico State, Nicole has honed her skills in event management and team building during her years as a Senior Event Manager for a Corporate Training and Team building company.
Nicole's genuine care for people, evident through her love for cooking and laughter, has fueled her passion for sharing the transformative benefits of natural remedies with her community. As a firm believer in the power of holistic approaches as catalysts for human connection and healing, Nicole's journey has been humbling and rewarding. She brings her extensive experience in leadership development, events, and recreation planning to Four Peaks Medicinals, where she is dedicated to helping individuals live their lives from a place of love.

Katie LaRue - Psychoeducator
Katie LaRue is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) and for over a decade has been passionate about helping people feel alive again. She is the founder and owner of Optimal Health Counseling located in Northern California. Whether she is helping people find their voice, feel safe in their body or reclaim their power through setting boundaries, Katie uses various modalities to tailor her work to meet the specific needs of her clients.
Katie earned a Masters of Science degree in psychology. While in graduate school, she was hired as the first Sexual Assault Survivors Advocate at California State University Northridge (CSUN) where she helped students, staff, faculty and parents heal from the trauma caused by sexual assault incidents. Katie facilitated numerous training's on the neurobiology of trauma, afforded individual therapy services to the survivors, provided clients forensic accompaniments to the hospital, court hearings, and interviews with detectives. The experience she gained at CSUN was the catalyst to a career focused on helping people understand and overcome the impacts of trauma responses.
Katie specializes in Somatic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Katie uses a holistic approach, incorporating mind, body and spirit to help integrate all areas of a person's life to make them feel whole again. Katie is a certified mindfulness clinician, trauma informed yoga instructor, and breath-work advocate. Katie was featured twice on the acclaimed, To Be Magnetic's (TBM) Podcast, hosted by Lacy Phillips. Katie is committed to helping people grow and to help her clients find their authenticity.
In conjunction with her conventional therapeutic endeavors, Katie collaborates with Four Peaks Medicinals, where she channels her expertise into retreats and educational initiatives, emphasizing the therapeutic potential of functional mushrooms and plant-based remedies for mental wellness. Katie's specialized knowledge extends notably to the application of micro dosing regimens in promoting mental health.
Katie thoroughly enjoys guiding people through rough patches in order to alchemize trauma into something healthy and productive. It's just a part of the story, it's not the whole story.
Carmen Quinn - General Manager
Meet Carmen Quinn, our Four Peaks General Manager who oversees all production, customer service, social media, and design aspects of our functional medicinal mushroom company.
After experiencing the trauma of losing her home in the Camp Fire of 2018 and her friend to mental health battles, Carmen found solace in the power of mushrooms. In 2019, she joined forces with her friend and mentor to establish Four Peaks Medicinals, a company dedicated to educating and inspiring people while offering the best mushroom products.
With her open-mindedness and ability to empathize with people from all walks of life, Carmen guides customers on their journeys to healthier lives, organizing events, and providing phone consultations. Carmen's heart leaped at the opportunity to support and rebuild the community where her childhood home perished by teaming up with Parasole Mycology, and she loves teaching people about the power of mushrooms through educational classes and stands at markets. Every day is an exciting new journey for Carmen, and every customer is an opportunity to help someone on a better path.
Grace Schumacher - Marketing Manager
Grace Schumacher serves as the Marketing Manager for the Four Peaks Medicinals Team, bringing nearly two years of invaluable experience to the company. With a strong foundation in Agriculture Business from Butte College, Grace is deeply passionate about sustainable agriculture and delivering only the highest quality mushroom products to customers.
In her role, Grace takes pride in witnessing the profound impact that Four Peaks' products have on customers' lives. From hearing firsthand accounts of how these products enhance daily routines to witnessing tangible improvements in well-being, Grace finds fulfillment in contributing to a business with a purpose to make a positive difference in the world.
